Armed Forces Announce Targeting of British Oil Ship and Downing of American MQ9 Aircraft
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today that they have targeted a British ship, the ANDROMEDA STAR, and downed an American MQ9 aircraft.
In a statement, the Armed Forces confirmed that as part of their victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression on our country, the naval forces in the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted a British oil ship, the ANDROMEDA STAR, in the Red Sea. The attack was carried out with a number of suitable naval missiles, which directly hit the ship.
The Armed Forces added that the air defense forces were able to down an American MQ9 aircraft yesterday in the skies of Saada province while it was carrying out hostile tasks. The aircraft was targeted with a suitable missile.
The Yemeni Armed Forces hailed all the Yemeni people for their faithful response to the leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in their unprecedented and large interaction in support of our oppressed brothers in the Gaza Strip. They also confirmed their support and backing of the Armed Forces in their military operations against the Israeli enemy and against the American-British aggression supporting it in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to continue carrying out more military operations in support of the Palestinian people until the lifting of the siege and the cessation of aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
