The number of journalist martyrs has risen to 172 since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on Gaza

The Palestinian Media Gathering mourned journalist Ali Nayef Hassan Ta’ima (39 years old) who was martyred today, Monday, in a new Zionist crime that targeted a civilian vehicle he was riding in in  Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Media Gathering said in a press statement that with the martyrdom of journalist Ta’ima, the number of martyrs of the media movement in the Gaza Strip since October 7th has risen to (172) martyrs.

The Media Gathering condemned the ongoing Zionist genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people in the besieged Strip, and the ongoing crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals.

It called on international institutions concerned with journalistic work to intervene urgently to stop the crimes of genocide to which Palestinian journalists are being subjected, so that they can perform their professional duty to the fullest extent, based on all international laws and conventions.
