Abdulsalam: Yemen is at highest standards of readiness and preparedness to confront any aggressor
The head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammad Abdulsalam, stated that Yemen’s stance on Syria is based on the issues that connect us, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
In a post on his telegram channel, Mohammed Abdulsalam said that the claims by armed groups that their goal is to confront Iran and Hezbollah are highly intriguing.
“What is the stance of the armed groups in Syria on the issues of the nation, the Palestinian cause? Abdulsalam questioned.
He emphasized that these groups must take action because the Israeli enemy is occupying Syrian lands, bombing, and violating its sovereignty.
Abdulsalam noted that the Israeli stance is supportive of these groups and angry with the previous regime in Syria.
He stated that what is required from the armed groups in Syria is not a statement, but a clear stance.
He further said the Israeli enemy has annexed vast Syrian lands, and it is the armed groups that have taken the lead in the scene who are responsible for defending Syria.
“Israel” will only accept a disarmed and weak state in Syria,” he underlined.
“In Yemen, the side that should be concerned is the other party. Any war in the interest of the Zionists means we will target every supporter.”
He concluded by affirming that “Yemen, with its leadership and people, is living up to the highest standards of readiness and preparedness, and the aggressor will find himself trapped in an American-Israeli snare.
