Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Latest Developments
the 14th of Sha’ban 1446 A.H. (the 13th of February 2025 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
{‘Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray. Indeed, Allah will never forgive those who disbelieve and commit wrong, nor will He guide them to a path, except the path of Jahannam; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy’}[An-Nisa 4:167-169].
In recent weeks, the American president Trump, the criminal tyrant, announced a position that has surprised many people, including leaders, politicians, and elites—it has surprised the majority of human society. Such an announcement met with widespread condemnation across various nations, as he announced his plan to forcibly relocate the Palestinian people from Gaza to other Arab countries. In other words, it is a plan that aims to displace the Palestinian people from their land and country; this is a blatant confiscation of a right that encompasses many other rights, a clear and inalienable right recognised by all human standards agreed upon by countries worldwide, in every human society.
At first, some thought this might just be one of the unrealistic, illogical, and unacceptable statements typical of the tyrant Trump—statements that seemed more like nonsense or foolishness. People have come to expect such things from him, both in America and elsewhere. He often exaggerates and says things that no rational person would accept. So at first, some imagined it might be one of those instances—perhaps not a serious statement but rather flattery towards Israel, expressing the extent of his loyalty to Zionism and his interactions with the Israeli enemy. However, as he repeatedly raised the issue, his insistence on this criminal plan became evident, one that disregards all rights and justice. In fact, he contradicts himself in his statements. At times, he would suggest the idea of purchasing the land, which was met with global astonishment and ridicule. Such a statement turned into something of a joke due to its naïveté and peculiarity; such words have come from someone in a position of responsibility, especially as the President of the United States, a nation that presents itself as a civilised country advocating for freedom, justice, and rights, albeit under false pretences. The audacity to completely ignore those principles at such a high level is indeed astonishing.
In any case, Trump’s stance was reiterated, and he appeared serious in this proposal and his plan, which is sheer and utter falsehood, entirely exposed, without any other labels to cover it. There is nothing that any of America’s allies or even those within America itself can use to justify such a false and unjust plan. He seemed earnest, began repeating this proposal, striving to promote it, attempting to persuade others of it, and started exerting pressure on some Arab regimes to accept it.
This American stance clearly reflects American tyranny. For us, whatever the Americans present is not surprising, no matter how far removed from the truth or how unjust and invalid it may be. This is expected from the Americans, who are truly afflicted by greed, avarice, and tyranny. Their policies express tyranny, and so do their positions and their actions. Their criminal history, marked by oppression and brutality, is rooted in tyranny and bears witness to their tyranny. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that they have reached such a level of exposure in their embrace of falsehood and injustice, along with their complete denial of justice and truth, given their tyranny, brutality, colonial mindset, greed, and boundless ambitions.
Furthermore, they are also afflicted with their belief in the Zionist project, which is an aggressive, destructive, and unjust project. The Americans believe in this project and seek to implement it. Recently, they have become increasingly eager to achieve successes in this oppressive project. If these successes were to materialise, they would involve the confiscation of rights from peoples and nations—rights that are well-established and recognised. Such actions would represent pure injustice and complete invalidity, with absolutely no justification, even according to the universally accepted principles and rights acknowledged among people.
In any case, this brutality and tyranny mean that Trump, who previously carried the banner of the ‘Deal of the Century’ during his first presidency, has now transitioned to what can be called the ‘Crime of the Century’ in his second term. This ‘Crime of the Century’ involves the Americans colluding with the Israelis in their savage, brutal, and criminal aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, committing acts of genocide and the most heinous crimes against them, including starvation, widespread destruction, torture of prisoners and others, and other crimes like the deliberate killing of children and women and attempts to annihilate the Palestinian people. And here he is moving from the ‘Deal of the Century’ to crown this crime: the ‘Crime of the Century’, which was a criminal aggression involving genocide over a span of 15 months, during which they failed to achieve this objective of forcibly displacing the Palestinian people from their land, homeland, and country. Now, he is trying to present the narrative again in an entirely exposed way, without any pretence or cover, and is seeking to persuade the Arab regimes that have failed to support the Palestinian cause and who have neglected their humanitarian, religious, and ethical responsibilities—responsibilities that are also connected to their national security. He has pushed them into a corner, dictating his demands for them to comply—not through dialogue, persuasion, or understanding, but by saying that they must and will act! This is how he speaks to them. He speaks to them in a language of dictating terms, giving orders and directions, showing this level of boldness. He aims to crown this ‘Crime of the Century’ with its objective of forcibly displacing the Palestinian people from their land, as this is an extremely horrific crime—the genocide of the Palestinian people over 15 months, marked by the atrocities committed, with the Israelis, in collaboration with the Americans, perpetrating these terrible crimes. He seeks to achieve its goal of displacing the Palestinian people from their homeland.
When the Americans talk about the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip—and also from the West Bank—it is clear that this is exactly what they want. This means they are working towards the complete eradication of the Palestinian cause. It also reveals that all their past claims, where they misled Arabs into so-called peace initiatives and the two-state solution, were nothing but deception. The Americans themselves are disregarding all the agreements the Palestinian Authority made with the Israeli enemy regarding the two-state solution—agreements that were signed under their supervision and sponsorship. They are now turning their backs on what was done under their sponsorship and in their name. This proves that deception was always at the heart of their approach in every stage of the past. As for their real agenda, it is one that aligns entirely with the Zionist project, which aims at having full control over Palestine, totally eliminating the Palestinian cause, striping the Palestinian people of all their rights, and forcibly displacing all the Palestinian people from their land. Beyond that, their ambitions extend further. The American position is also clear in its support for Israeli expansion into other Arab countries, including Jordan—the maps are there, and the Zionist project is well known. The American position is also clear in its support for Israeli expansion into Lebanon and beyond, as much land as they can seize. For them, it all comes down to having the ability to do so, creating the right conditions, advancing step by step, and gradually setting the stage within these countries—one move at a time.
The Americans are blatantly oppressive, aggressive, criminal, and unjust. They disregard truth, justice, and fundamental principles—principles of fairness and righteousness that are rooted in divine teachings, recognised by human nature, acknowledged in the customs of nations across the world, and enshrined in UN charters and international law. Under international law, this is considered a war crime, yet they show no concern for anything. They dismiss all of it in pursuit of their wrongful, oppressive, and aggressive objectives. They turn their backs on everything—on every norm and every right recognised by human society as a whole. They turn their backs on everything, even on those connected to them, their loyalists, those who let down the Palestinian people and Gaza for their sake, who sacrificed Gaza for America and Israel. They never appreciated this loyalty, not even from those who conspired with them, inciting the Israelis and Americans to wipe out the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the jihadist factions in the Gaza Strip. They showed no appreciation for any of this and instead chose to follow this blind, false path.
However, the right solution, which aligns with truth and equity, is to relocate the Zionist Jews from Palestine, as they are usurpers, occupiers, oppressors, and criminals. They are the source of evil and anxiety in the entire region and in Palestine itself. They are the ones who are in the position of aggression, occupation, oppression, and falsehood. If Trump and the American stance prioritise supporting the Zionist Jews and embracing them, the Americans can relocate them to the United States of America. There are vast areas, even areas still without inhabitants, in America itself. America is a vast country with areas still uninhabited. So they can relocate the Zionist Jews to America and give them a state there, a vast land there, or they can work to integrate them into various states. This is what is possible, and this aligns with truth and equity. But the Americans are oppressive and side with the oppressor; they are tyrants, acting with tyranny and following a path of oppression to wrong others, especially the sons of our Ummah.
This step is also not a partial measure: The issue of forcibly displacing the people of Gaza and the West Bank, along with the erasure of the Palestinian cause, is part of the broader Zionist project. This project seeks expansion, land seizure, and occupation and ultimately aims to target Islamic sanctities in Palestine, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the site of the Prophet’s Night Journey. In fact, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is under constant threat. This is not to mention the other details and aspects related to the Zionist project, which is an aggressive and destructive project against our entire Ummah, with the Arab countries at the forefront. Then come all the sanctities of the Islamic world that are targets of this Zionist project. For this reason, Arabs and the Islamic world must not adopt a narrow perspective, as if the problem is limited to just this stage or this scale. In every phase, the Americans and Israelis take a step, with each step being part of a comprehensive project that is entirely aggressive and brutal. Therefore, it is crucial to be aware of this step, as well as those that came before it and those that will follow. This is a matter of great importance.
The success of the American plan—which is blatant tyranny, a disgrace in every sense of the word, pure falsehood with no cover, entirely unjustifiable, and marked by its blatant exposure, audacity, tyranny, and aggression—ultimately depends on Arab acceptance. This is a critical point—one of utmost importance. This means that this plan, with all its blatant exposure, audacity, ugliness, injustice, and pure and clear falsehood, cannot succeed—no matter how much the tyrant, infidel Trump speaks about it or promotes it—unless the Arabs accept it. At the forefront of this are the Arab regimes neighbouring Palestine, particularly Egypt and Jordan, along with the Saudi regime, which plays a key role in either accepting or rejecting it. This is because it is typical of the Saudi regime to be used in convincing others and promoting what the Americans aim to impose on our Ummah.
Since the success of this plan hinges on Arab acceptance and cannot move forward without it, this means that a great responsibility falls on the Arabs—their regimes and their peoples. This is not only a humanitarian, moral, and religious responsibility but also directly tied to their national security.
There is a clear rejection of Trump’s plan in the declared position of the Egyptians, Jordanians, and Saudis. This is important, but what matters more is to remain sincerely steadfast in this position and benefit from the consensus regarding this matter, as we mentioned in our previous speech. There is a Palestinian consensus, an Arab consensus, an Islamic consensus, and an international consensus that Trump’s plan to displace the Palestinian people from their own land is null, bad, and unacceptable. As we have said before, others might not go beyond expressing and acknowledging to our Ummah and peoples that Trump’s plan—which targets the Palestinian people, and all Arabs and Muslims—is null, bad, and unjust. When it comes to taking action, they may not act to adopt strong, practical measures. Regarding the Arabs, as the issue ultimately hinges on whether they accept Trump’s plan or not, they must never accept it. To accept it means that they would essentially become active participants, playing a crucial role in this extremely heinous crime: collaborating with the Americans in this dreadful, atrocious, and aggressive act and in this sheer nullity. This is a serious matter! In doing so, they would play a key role in making that void, unjust, aggressive plan succeed. For this reason, the Americans are seeking to trap them in a major scandal, a serious crime, and a highly disgraceful act against their faith, against their Ummah, against the interests of their countries and peoples, and against their safety! In other words, it poses a threat to both their religion and their worldly affairs. This is one of the consequences of their abandonment of Gaza over a period of 15 months. The Americans, driven by greed, now aim to have them participate in the elimination of the Palestinian cause in such a brazen, baseless, and overt manner!
Therefore, given that there is a Palestinian consensus to reject this aggressive, criminal plan (as well as an Arab-Islamic consensus and global backing for the Arab position and the Arab-Muslim cause), we must capitalise on this support, with everyone uniting and cooperating. Stop the divisions and evasions, and adopt this collective approach to reject this plan and refuse being the instruments that implement it and turn it into reality. Let it remain mere empty words that can never be implemented.
The Palestinian people have a clear and unwavering position. In Gaza and the West Bank, the Palestinians are self-sacrificing, patient, and steadfast and never stopped making sacrifices. Nevertheless, everyone must rally to support them, help them, and stand by them. Also, everyone must beware of stabbing them in the back, betraying them, or collaborating with their enemies against them. This is a crucial matter.
The Arab position must be firm and resolute, with no acceptance of the American plan. Otherwise, it would amount to a major betrayal—one with extremely serious repercussions for Arab national security and for the entire region. Indeed, the repercussions of this betrayal would be extremely serious. This is not an easy issue. There must be a sincere, unwavering position, regardless of any temptations or pressures from the American side. Nothing justifies yielding. By uniting, cooperating, and rallying around the right position in rejecting that plan, we can overcome American pressures and temptations.
Therefore, utmost caution, not just any caution, must be exercised against any form of bargaining or compromise. When the Americans hit a dead end and see there is no chance of their plan succeeding, they may resort to postponement rather than outright cancellation, delaying and engaging in deals that could later pave the way for that very plan. For this reason, there must be no bargaining or compromise on the part of Arab regimes when that could harm the Palestinian cause. Instead, everyone should wake up from their heedlessness and recognise the true nature of the enemies’ ambitions and aims—which are clear and well known—so that they can take a serious stance in supporting the Palestinian people, change their negative attitudes towards our fellow mujahidin in Palestine, and reconsider their earlier designation of them as terrorists, among other negative measures that should not continue. This is crucial regarding this matter.
For us in Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, our position is firm and principled in supporting the Palestinian people and their mujahidin. We are committed to standing by them in every possible way. Therefore, if the Americans and Israelis attempt to implement this plan by force, or if they reach an agreement with Arab regimes and proceed with its execution, we will intervene, even with military force. We will fulfil our jihadist responsibility to confront the Americans and the Israelis and to support the Palestinian people—just as we did in facing the ‘Crime of the Century’ over 15 months and standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people on all fronts, including on the military front with missile and drone strikes, naval operations, and more. We will never stand by passively if the Americans and Israelis move forward with this unjust, aggressive, and criminal plan by force. We will meet their aggression with strength, military intervention, and jihad in the cause of Allah using all means necessary. We will not allow ourselves to be mere spectators in the face of such an aggressive plan against the Palestinian people. We will not accept their displacement from their land and homeland. This is our stance regarding this plan.
Regarding the implementation of the agreement, it consists of two phases. The agreement outlines specific obligations that should be fulfilled during the first phase by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the Palestinian factions, and they have fulfilled these obligations related to the first phase. In contrast, the Israeli enemy has not fulfilled all the obligations related to this same phase of the agreement. The Americans, who played the role of guarantors in this agreement, are encouraging the Israeli enemy to breach its obligations and not to fulfil them completely, despite these obligations being of a humanitarian nature. These include allowing the entry of tents, necessary supplies for hospital repairs, and some relief materials, as well as health-related requirements.
The issue of tents is essential; caravans are also essential because homes have been destroyed, and entire neighbourhoods have been devastated. Most houses and residences in Gaza are completely demolished. People need shelter; they need tents—basic necessities. Only a limited and insufficient quantity of tents has entered, which may only meet about 8% of the total needs of the population. Therefore, there is obstinacy. The same is true regarding the transfer of wounded individuals who were agreed upon for treatment through the Rafah crossing. It is the Israeli enemy that has not met its remaining obligations concerning the implementation of the first phase, and it is the one that clearly procrastinates and evades responsibility, with American encouragement, although the Americans are the guarantors! What kind of guarantor they are! They turn their backs to all rights, all treaties, and all agreements—they are nothing but a deceitful guarantor that lies, betrays, destroys, and denies all truth and justice.
It is completely evident that the Israeli side is evading the second phase of the agreement. The criminal Netanyahu openly announced his intention to extend the first phase, as he aims to make the Palestinians give him during the first phase what should belong to the second phase without fulfilling his obligations that are related to the second phase. This is a blatant deception; he wants to strip them of what they have and impose the release of any remaining prisoners within the framework of the first phase while evading to meet the obligations that are supposed to be part of the second phase. There are significant obligations that should met during the second phase, which relate to fundamental aspects of reconstruction, housing, and completing the withdrawal. These are critical issues and essential rights for the Palestinian people, rights that are firmly established on humanitarian grounds and beyond. The situation is clear.
Despite all that, what has Trump done?! He is threatening the Palestinian people and the resistance movements, especially the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Al-Qassam Brigades. He is threatening them to use aggression. He said that if all the prisoners held by Hamas and the Al-Qassam Brigades are not released by Saturday at 12:00 pm, he will let hell break out.
This infidel, criminal, tyrant, and clown, Trump, turns his back on the agreement that he is supposed to be guaranteeing—an agreement with a clear framework, defined phases, and specific steps concerning the release of prisoners and other commitments outlined within the agreement. He denies all of this. Who are these people that do not fulfil any obligations?! They are stepping away from all international norms, engaging in blatant deceit, lies, and treachery without any justification whatsoever, using the language of tyranny, and threatening with hell! This infidel, criminal, tyrant, and buffoon, Trump, even denies the agreement that he promised to guarantee its implementation—an agreement with a clear framework, defined phases, and specific steps including concerning the release of prisoners and other terms outlined within the agreement. He turns his back on all of this. What kind of people they are! They never honour their commitments! They violate all international norms and engage in blatant deceit, lies, and treachery without any justification whatsoever! Their language is one of tyranny, and they keep threatening others with hell. Hell awaits no one but you, Trump—you infidel, oppressor, and tyrant. You are the one who has grown so old, nearing the end of your time in this world. Death will come for you whether you like it or not; it is your inevitable fate. Beyond this world is the Hereafter, and Hell is for you and those like you—the tyrants, oppressors, criminals, and arrogant ones.
This irrational stance, which shows disregard for the clear agreement and its explicit terms, reflects tyranny, arrogance, and criminality. It is completely unacceptable. Our brothers, the mujahidin in Palestine, cannot agree to release all the enemy’s prisoners without completing the prisoner exchange process as outlined in the agreement, with its clear phases and defined obligations. They are not foolish to squander what they hold in terms of strength.
If the Americans, along with the Israelis, decide to escalate based on what the criminal, infidel tyrant Trump has declared, then the region is in for a major problem. Firstly, regarding the prisoners held by Hamas and the Al-Qassam Brigades, the enemy cannot obtain them through this kind of language—which is one of tyranny and criminality—or through new aggression and escalation against the Gaza Strip. The past 15 months have shown us clearly that the Americans and Israelis failed to achieve this result; in the end, they were forced into an agreement that led to a prisoner exchange. Some prisoners have already been released, and the rest can still be freed—but only according to the terms of that agreement.
In this regard, we stress the need for an Arab-Islamic position that is, first and foremost, supportive of the Palestinian people, their resistance, and their proud mujahidin. This position must be strong, transparent, and unequivocal in opposition to the language of tyranny. There must be a firm, steadfast language that directly confronts both the logic and conduct of American tyranny. This is an issue of utmost importance.
As for us in Yemen (the land of faith, Jihad, and Wisdom), as we have previously affirmed, we stand fully, seriously, and sincerely in support of the Palestinian people and our fellow mujahidin in Palestine. Should the Americans and Israelis, following the threat of the criminal, infidel tyrant Trump, resort to aggression—whether on Saturday, before, or after—against the Gaza Strip and escalate the situation there, we will immediately take military action with our operations aimed at targeting both the Israeli and American enemy. We will not hesitate. We have repeatedly declared that we will closely monitor the implementation of the agreement. So if we witness any deviation from the agreed terms, any new escalation against the Palestinian people, or a renewed all-out assault, we will step in militarily—just as we did in our support of the Palestinian people over the past 15 months with missile and drone strikes, as well as naval operations. We will intervene militarily, and we will not hesitate to do so.
Moreover, our dear people will send a sincere and resolute warning message tomorrow, Allah willing. Over the fifteen-month period, they had the loudest voice and the strongest presence in support of the Palestinian people. Tomorrow, Allah willing, they will take to the streets in Sana’a and across various governorates to declare to the world their unwavering and wholehearted support for the Palestinian people in all fields, including through the military option. They will also send a warning message to the Americans and Israelis against any new escalation or aggression towards Gaza. Furthermore, they will reaffirm to the entire world that the same stance will be maintained if the Americans and Israelis attempt to displace the Palestinian people from their land or country, or if they threaten their sacred sites, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, or cross any of the red lines that have previously been declared concerning the Palestinian cause.
Our dear people (the Yemen of faith, jihad, wisdom, loyalty, truthfulness, and steadfast, serious positions) are fully aware of their responsibility. That is why their presence over the 15-month period was honourable, and their position has been profoundly strong, rising to the level of their responsibility and embodying the sincere and serious positions that the Ummah must adopt. That is because submission to the Americans and the Israelis goes entirely against the essence of faith, and our country’s identity is one of faith. It is the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) who said, ‘The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.’ Thus, the glory of faith has been manifested in the position of our dear people and in their firmness against the disbelievers, their courage, their bravery, their deep sense of responsibility, and their courageous presence.
Therefore, I call upon our dear people to be present tomorrow, Friday, Allah willing, and to participate in the million-strong demonstration in the capital, Sana’a, and the various governorates. Let this serve as a strong and serious warning message to the Israeli enemy and the Americans against any acts of displacement, aggression, or escalation against the Palestinian people in Gaza, as well as against any attempt to displace the Palestinian people from their homeland or to violate the agreement. Let it also serve as a warning against any action by the Americans or Israelis in accordance with the threats made by the criminal Trump (the infidel, the tyrant) to launch aggression on Saturday.
I also call on the armed forces to be ready for military intervention should the criminal Trump carry out his threat, or if he or the Israelis move forward with that. We reaffirm this steadfast and principled position, and we will maintain constant monitoring and continuous coordination with our fellow mujahidin in Palestine and in the Axis of Resistance. Our position can go this far and is clear and serious.
We have told our fellow mujahidin in Palestine and all the Palestinian people:
You are not alone, and you will never be alone. We are with you, and Allah is with you. We will remain with you until all of Palestine is liberated. We stand with you in confronting all the conspiracies and satanic Zionist-Jewish schemes targeting you—whether those ones aimed to displace you from your land, those aimed at targeting holy sites, or any other oppressive, false, and satanic schemes.
We said these words for the sake of Allah, in response to Him, in obedience to His commands, and as part of our jihad in His path. We said these words to the Palestinian people and followed such words with comprehensive, sincere, and serious actions. We remain steadfast in this position, never wavering from it and never retreating from it, no matter the challenges or difficulties.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. We also ask Him to grant us victory. He is All-Hearing.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
