Israeli Air and artillery strikes continue across the Gaza Strip for the 637th consecutive day, as Israeli occupation forces maintain their offensive. The ongoing bombardment has resulted in further civilian casualties amidst a worsening humanitarian crisis marked by severe famine and widespread displacement affecting over two million people.
According to reports from PIC correspondents, dozens of airstrikes have been carried out across the territory, leading to additional fatalities and exacerbating the displacement crisis. The Israeli war is described as occurring under the political and military backing of the United States, with the international community noted for its “unprecedented silence and betrayal” by the source report.
Latest Casualties Reported
Medical sources in Gaza hospitals confirmed that several civilians were killed in Israeli air raids since dawn on Friday. A strike targeting a home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.
Further south, at least 15 Palestinians were reported martyred in an attack on tents sheltering displaced people west of Khan Yunis. Two additional fatalities occurred in a strike on a tent near the British hospital in Mawasi Khan Yunis.
Among the recently reported deaths is Ashraf Khalil Muammar, a young man who succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier airstrike on Khan Yunis.
Rising Toll and Humanitarian Crisis
Figures released by the Ministry of Health indicate the cumulative death toll in Gaza has now surpassed 57,113, with over 135,173 wounded. More than 11,000 people are reported missing. The crisis has been compounded by famine, which has claimed dozens of lives, while over two million Palestinians are living in forced displacement amid extensive destruction.
The Ministry reports that among the fatalities are 6,572 children, with 23,132 children also counted among the wounded. These figures are stated to follow a violation of a ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025.
Since May 27, approximately 652 Palestinians have been martyred and 4,537 injured at aid distribution points, which the report claims have been turned into “death traps.” Additionally, 39 people are reported missing from these incidents. A group identified as the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” described as having Israeli-American ties and rejected by the UN, is alleged to be used to impose conditions under the guise of humanitarian work.
The death toll for specific professions includes 1,581 medical workers, 115 civil defense personnel, 220 journalists, and 754 police officers and aid security staff.
Massacres and Destruction
The report mentioned that ‘Israel’ has committed more than 15,000 “massacres,” impacting over 14,000 families, with around 2,500 families stated to be completely removed from the civil registry.
According to the Government Media Office and UN sources, over 88% of Gaza’s buildings have been destroyed, with estimated total losses exceeding $62 billion. Israeli occupation forces are reported to now control 77% of Gaza’s territory through invasion and displacement.
