The Yemeni Military media released on Monday a video showing the fate of many surviving crew members from ETERNITY C, which was sunk on June 9, 2025, as a result of violating the naval embargo against the Israeli entity.
The footage showed also part of the search and rescue operation the Yemeni Navy had carried out for the ship’s crew, which lasted for two days.
The ship’s crew admitted that it had violated the ban on maritime navigation in occupied Palestinian ports, stressing that Umm al-Rashrash Port was the ship’s destination from Berbera Port in Somalia.
They clarified that the Port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia was used solely for cover and logistical refueling, while the actual destination was Umm al-Rashrash.
A military source said that the Yemeni Navy was able to rescue 11 members of the ship’s crew at the Red Sea, with providing medical care of two wounded. The body of one of the crew members was found on board the ship before it sank and was transferred to the hospital morgue.
The Armed Forces announced yesterday the launch of the fourth phase of the naval blockade against the Zionist enemy. This phase includes targeting all ships affiliated with any company that deals with Israeli ports, regardless of the company’s nationality or the vessel’s location, as long as it is within reach of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
On July 9, the Armed Forces confirmed they had successfully targeted the vessel ETERNITY C, which was en route to the port of Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine. The attack was carried out using a naval drone and six cruise and ballistic missiles, resulting in the complete sinking of the ship. Following the operation, a unit from the Naval Special Forces moved in to rescue several crew members, provided them with medical assistance, and transferred them to a safe location.
The vessel was struck after both it and its operating company resumed dealings with the port of Umm al-Rashrash, in clear violation of the declared ban on engaging with Israeli ports. The attack also came after the ship ignored repeated warnings and calls from the Yemeni Naval Forces.
On the same day, the Military Media Unit released footage showing the launch of ballistic and cruise missiles from mountainous areas and the moment the ship was directly hit.
Earlier, on July 7, the Armed Forces also targeted the vessel "Magic Seas", which belonged to a company that violated the entry ban on ports in occupied Palestine. The operation involved two naval drones, five ballistic and cruise missiles, and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The attack led to the complete sinking of the ship, while the crew was allowed to safely evacuate.
