The Palestinian Prisoners' Club, yesterday, documented testimonies from inside Israeli prisons confirming the continuation of systematic crimes against Palestinian prisoners, including shooting at the limbs, breaking ribs, and electrocuting, in addition to starvation and medical neglect.

This came in a briefing distributed by the club to journalists on Monday regarding "the situation of prisoners during the first half of July," based on visits conducted by its lawyers to several prisons.

The club stated that "the Israeli occupation's prison system continues to commit its systematic crimes against prisoners and detainees, with the fate of more than 10,800 prisoners and detainees, including women and children, increasingly at risk."

It pointed out that prisoners' testimonies, based on dozens of visits during the first half of July, revealed systematic torture, including broken ribs, extinguishing cigarettes on their bodies, electric shocks, and firing rubber bullets at their extremities, in addition to deliberate starvation, the spread of scabies, and denial of medical treatment.
