The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose on Saturday to 59,733, with 144,477 wounded since October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The ministry confirmed in its daily statistical report that 57 martyrs and 512 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of the aggression. Three of the martyrs were recovered.
In a related development, the ministry indicated that 29 martyrs and more than 165 wounded arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours as a result of the targeting of aid seekers, bringing the total number of “livelihood martyrs” who arrived at hospitals to 1,121 and more than 7,485 wounded.
The ministry added that the death toll since March 18, 2025, has reached 8,581, and the number of wounded to date has reached 32,436.
It confirmed that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties in reaching them.
