The Presidency of the Shura Council, in its meeting today, Monday, chaired by Council President Mohammed Hussein Al-Eidros, congratulated the Yemeni Armed Forces on announcing the fourth phase of the naval blockade against the Zionist enemy, targeting ships belonging to companies operating in its ports regardless of their nationality.

The Presidency indicated that this decision is part of the courageous steps taken by Yemen’s leadership, government, and people, in adherence to their firm religious, moral, and humanitarian stance in support of Gaza, which is currently subjected to the most horrific crime of genocide and starvation in modern history.

It reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering position in support of the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted, in line with Yemen’s declared commitment to maritime security and safety, except for ships associated with the usurping entity.

The Presidency strongly condemned the continued actions of the Zionist war criminals in intensifying the crime of starvation against civilians in Gaza, resulting in the death of one in every three civilians from hunger, in addition to the systematic and criminal targeting of those seeking humanitarian aid.
