The Saudi army has committed a brutal crime by torturing seven Yemeni civilians from the Al-Dhaher and Haydan districts in Saada province, resulting in the martyrdom of one citizen and the serious injury of six others, according to local sources.
The victims were reportedly arrested in the Jizan region and subjected to severe and inhumane torture by Saudi soldiers, including burning with fire and violent flogging.
Local sources in Al-Dhaher confirmed that one man died from his injuries, while six others sustained serious wounds in what was described as a degrading and cruel act.
Relatives and local residents condemned the incident as evidence of the Saudi army’s hostile and violent conduct toward the Yemeni people, citing thousands of similar violations and crimes—especially in the border areas.
The Human Rights Office in Saada also condemned the incident, labeling it a gross violation of human rights and holding the Saudi regime fully responsible—legally, criminally, and morally—for this and all previous crimes committed against Yemeni civilians.
