The Acting Minister of Defense of Iran, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ibn al-Rida, affirmed that the enemy's weaknesses have been calculated and monitored with absolute precision, emphasizing that the Iranian Armed Forces possess complete knowledge regarding the method, timing, and level of pressure that must be exerted on adversaries.
During a joint session with the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament), Ibn al-Rida stated that Iran confronted the latest information technologies, military systems, and psychological warfare mechanisms during the second and third imposed wars.
He also noted that the recent war demonstrated that Iranian elites and investment in modern technologies constitute the most important elements of the country's defensive power.
Failure of Global Support for the Enemy
He added that more than 150 major technology companies around the world provided support to the United States and the Zionist entity, placing their latest technical achievements at the service of the enemy, who believed it was capable of ending the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. However, he emphasized that this attempt failed thanks to the blood of the martyrs, the directives of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the bravery of the military, and the support of the people.
Ibn al-Rida pointed out that the performance of the Iranian Armed Forces in the "Ramadan War" was more innovative and powerful from both tactical and technical perspectives compared to the 12-Day War. He stressed that despite the vastness and complexity of the battlefield, the armed forces managed to deliver a decisive response to the enemy in the shortest possible timeframe.
Boosting Defense Production During Wartime
He underlined that recent experiences have proven that investing in modern technologies and the knowledge-based sector achieves significant strategic results. He called for strengthening the defense budget, developing advanced technology, utilizing the capabilities of elites both inside the country and abroad, and establishing flexible mechanisms for technology acquisition.
Major General Majid Ibn al-Rida concluded by highlighting that at the very peak of the war, not only did defense production never halt, but the production capacity of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) actually tripled.
