Human Rights Condemns Saudi Crime, Targeting Afar Customs in Al-Baidha

The Ministry of Human Rights condemned the horrific crime committed by the US-Saudi aggression in which it targeted Afar customs center in Al-Baidha Governorate, it is a major center for the flow of goods.

In a statement the Ministry stated that the airstrike resulted in injuring three civilians, destroying the compound building and burning more than 11 commercial locomotives loaded with basic merchandise and materials. It stated that targeting this place is concerned as a war crime against humanity in accordance with international humanitarian law, international human rights law and criminal law. It pointed out that this crime and other crimes confirm the lack of credibility of the declared ceasefire, by the US-Saudi aggression.

The Ministry held the United Nations, its bodies and organizations and the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, responsible for their continued disregard of all crimes and violations committed by the aggression against the Yemeni people, infrastructure and their capabilities.

The Ministry called for the formation of an independent and impartial international commission to reveal the facts, and investigate all massacres, crimes and violations committed in governorates.
