A governmental meeting approves a plan to confront occupation in southern, eastern provinces

A government meeting, held in Sanaa Monday and chaired by the Supreme Political Council’s member Ahmed al-Rahwi in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, approved a comprehensive plan to confront Saudi-Emirati occupation in the occupied southern and eastern provinces.

The plan included a set of policies, programs and practical steps that covered four main axes, including the military, security, political and cultural aspects, and its implementation would be started immediately on the ground after its official approval by the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat.

The meeting, which was attended by the Political Council’s Adviser Dr. Abdulaziz al-Tarib and members of the Cabinet and Shura Council from the southern and eastern provinces and governors of these provinces, discussed the sub-plans presented by the governors regarding the most effective mechanisms that serve the national project that resists and rejects the Saudi-Emirati occupation, as well as the developmental and service projects of priority that are consistent with the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

The meeting touched on the conditions in the occupied southern and eastern provinces in light of the abhorrent criminal and racist practices of the so-called southern transitional council against the people of the northern and western provinces under the supervision of the Saudi and Emirati occupiers.

In this regard, the attendees condemned the so-called “legitimate government” that contributes with the two states of aggression and occupation, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to tearing up the internal national cohesion and the distinction between the sons of the one Yemeni people.
