For 2nd Time, Air Defenses Intercept 2 F16 Warplanes, Al-Jawf

Yemeni Air Defenses were able to intercept two F16 warplanes operated by the US-Saudi Aggression forces in Al-Jawf governorate, forcing it to leave the skies.

The Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, said “God’s support, Air Defenses managed to intercept 2 F16 warplanes in the sky of Al-Jawf Governorate with Fater-1 air defenses system. Warplanes were forced to depart, before executing hostile missions.”

This operation came after hours of similar operation that Air Defenses were able to intercept F15 warplane operated by the US-Saudi Aggression forces in Al-Jawf Governorate, forcing it to depart.

Brigadier General Sare’e said that the Armed Forces are continuing to confront all attempts by the enemies until reach full protection of the Yemeni airspace.

It is noteworthy that the President Mahdi Al-Mashat revealed on the 23rd of last February, of four new air defense systems, which are Thaqib 1, Thaqib 2, Thaqib 3 and Fater 1, which were developed with purely Yemeni expertise.
