Health Ministry Condemns pro-Saudi Governments Increasing Number of Commercial Flights, Ignoring Corona’s outbreak

The Ministry of Public Health and Population criticized the irresponsible measures of the pro-Saudi aggression government increasing the number of commercial flights coming from Egypt and Jordan through the airports of Aden and Sayun to five flights. “It is a serious catastrophe that has dangerous consequences in light of the Corona outbreak,” the Ministry explained.

“While the countries of the world are keen to reduce their flights and even close their airports to those coming to them, the pro-Saudi aggression government raised the number of flights through the airports of Aden and Sayun. In addition to the two daily regular flights, three more are scheduled to reach five flights three from Egypt and two flights from Jordan,” said the Ministry of Health these in a statement.

In the statement, the ministry held the pro-Saudi government and Coalition led by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and US fully responsible for these dangerous measures in the event of any suspected case or infection with the Corona virus in Yemen.

The ministry called for stopping these behaviors and taking full responsibility for that, demanding to work for limiting the air flights, monitoring the border and sea ports under the control of the occupation, in order to preserve the lives and health of the Yemeni people in all governorates.

In the statement, the Ministry essentially called upon the United Nations and the World Health Organization to fulfill their duty to intervene swiftly to stop these disastrous actions in light of the complacency, indifference and irresponsible actions by the mercenary government.

The Ministry of Health called on the sons of the Yemeni people in the occupied areas to contribute their role and positive action to stop these practices, as they are most vulnerable to infection with this virus if it spreads, God forbid.
