The second phase of the contingency plan to tackle Coronavirus starts in Ibb
A meeting of the Technical Committee to deal with epidemics in the governorate of Ibb is headed by its governor, Abdulwahid Salah, commenced the implementation of the second phase of the general emergency plan to confront the emerging Coronavirus epidemic.
The meeting dealt with assessing the level of implementation of the first stage of the general emergency plan, the problems that accompanied it and the level of interaction of the relevant authorities, stressing the need to continue to implement the first phase of the general emergency plan and intensify the precautionary measures and to enhance awareness efforts among citizens.
In his turn, Salah stressed that all parties should carry out their duties and not be lenient or inaction unless very firm measures are taken because the situation needs seriousness and make every effort to confront this epidemic, directing the relevant authorities to continue and constant concern for cleaning, spraying and sterilization work for public places and important streets.
He stressed the importance of continuing awareness-raising campaigns for people and completing the processing of all the needs of the quarantine centers, in all respects, so that they would be fully prepared to receive any case confirmed to be afflicted with this serious epidemic.
