Mohammed Al-Houthi to donors: The solution in Yemen is to stop the aggression, Lift Seige
The member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammad Al-Houthi, commented on the so-called Donors’ Conference, hosted by Saudi Arabia, by asking countries leading the aggression against Yemen to stop their war and lift the siege.
Al-Houthi said in his tweet: “The truth cannot be fabricated by a failed conference.” In his response to accusation of obstructing aid by Sana’a, he sited Mark Lowcock, UN Relief Chief, on pledges that weren’t fulfilled. “Lowcock’s confession of unfulfilled pledges and the halting of international programs, by the UN, prove that obstructing aid in Sana’a is a lie,” he explained.
The Supreme Political member blamed the US-Saudi aggression for the situation in Yemen. “The aggression and the siege led the Yemeni People to hit rock bottom,” pointing out that “the Donors’ Conference seems to be a stinking political plot.”
