Ministry of Interior condemns the stationing of Eritrean forces on the Yemeni island of Hanish
The official spokesman of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Abdul Khaleq Al-Ajri, said that the Eritrean aggression against Yemeni sovereignty and the repeated attacks to enter the Great Island of Hanish come with Emirati collusion.
Brigadier Al-Ajri explained that at the end of the year 2019, the Eritrean forces tortured and insulted 17 Yemeni fishermen while they were hunting inside Yemeni waters.
He added that, on May 30, Eritrean forces were stationed on the largest island of Hanish, and confiscated eight boats in Awad Mountains, in particular.
He pointed out that the violation of Yemeni sovereignty is repeated, and in 2019, Eritrean forces confiscated 53 Yemeni boats of fishermen from Mocha and the surrounding areas.
