Health Minister praises health personnel’s steadfastness to combat Covid-19 in Hodeidah
Minister of Health Taha al-Mutawakil praised on Monday the of the medical staff’s steadfastness in combating Covid-19 in Hodeidah province.
At the meeting, the minister addressed the international organizations saying, “If you want the numbers and statistics of Covid-19 deaths and infections, we have one million cases of malaria, celery and dengue in Hodeidah and other governorates, so what have you presented to confront these diseases?”
Al-Mutawakil conveyed the revolution leader’s greetings and the president of the Supreme Political Council to the health cadres in various governorates for its role in confronting diseases and epidemics, and providing comprehensive care for patients.
The minister, during his meeting with health personnel at al-Thawrah Hospital of the province, indicated that his ministry would exert efforts to back the medical personnel isolation centers.
Al-Mutawakil held the United Nations full responsible for the catastrophic health situation in hospitals’ operating rooms, incubators as a result of the ongoing aggression and the siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition on the Yemen people and preventing oil tankers to enter to Hodiedah port.
