Water and Environment Ministry condemns aggression detention ships of oil derivatives
Ministry of Water and Environment has condemned the detention of oil ships by the aggression coalition and prevented their entry into the port of Hodeidah.
The ministry said in a statement that the continued denial of entry of oil ships compounds the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the aggression and the unjust siege.
The Ministry added that the detention of oil derivatives will affect the performance and work of water institutions and sewage stations.
It stressed that the suspension of work in water institutions and sewage stations will lead to the spread of diseases and epidemics and cause an environmental pollution disaster at the level of population centers in the provinces’ centers, including in major cities.
The Ministry called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to play their role in pressuring the aggression coalition countries to allow oil ships to reach the port of Hodeidah as expeditiously as possible.
