The latest news of Geneva negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh delegations

A source following the ongoing Geneva negotiations on prisoners’ file confirmed that the UN-sponsored round of negotiations will conclude its work on Sunday with the announcement of the agreement on the deal signed by the delegations of Sanaa and Riyadh.

The source added that what remained before the United Nations announced the details of the agreement was the discussion and signing of the implementation mechanism for the deal.

He pointed out in a statement to al-Masirah TV that the current agreement based on only the first phase of the Amman agreement after the failure to reach an agreement on the second phase of the deal.

UN envoy Martin Griffiths will hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon to announce the results of the prisoners’ talks, according to media sources.
