FM receives UNICEF’s new representative credentials

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, on Sunday received a copy of credentials of the recently-appointed resident representative of UNICEF to Yemen, Philippe Duhamel,according to YPA.

At the meeting, the minister welcomed the UNICEF representative, He asserted all facilitations will be provided for him to perform his duties to ease the implementation of UNICEF programs in Yemen.

He stressed that the important role exerted by the UNICEF programs in addressing the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe created by the aggression coalition since 2015.

Meanwhile, the UNICEF’s official said that he would exert more efforts in dealing with the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen.
