Netanyahu to visit UAE next month

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his intention to visit the UAE next month, in the first public visit of its kind, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported.

According to the paper, Netanyahu’s visit comes at the invitation of Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, while the official date of the visit has not yet been set.

During his visit, Netanyahu is scheduled to inaugurate a special prime minister’s plane called the “Zion Wing”.

Last month, Netanyahu made a phone call to Bin Zayed, concluding a statement saying that they had agreed to meet soon.

Netanyahu said at the time that he “invited him to Visit Israel, and he invited me to Visit Abu Dhabi.”
