Iranian Foreign Minister to Arab Neighbors: Iran Neither Enemy Nor Threat

Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, congratulated the State of Qatar for its success in resisting “pressure and blackmail,” following that with a message to Iran neighbors, Arab States.

In a tweet this evening, Tuesday, Zarif wrote: “We tell our other Arab neighbors: Iran is neither an enemy nor a threat .”

“It is time for you to accept our proposal for a strong region,” Zarif added.

The words of the Iranian Foreign Minister came after the Gulf summit, which began today in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, where the participants signed the “Al-Ula Statement,” which includes the reconciliation agreement between Qatar and the Gulf states.
