A cultural event in Taiz on the anniversary of “Rajab Friday”

The branch of Taiz University at al-Hawban Center organized a cultural event on the occasion of the commemoration of Rajab Friday and the inauguration of the activities of the faith identity in the University.

During the event, which was organized in cooperation with the Culture Office and the University Student Forum, in the presence of the governor of the governorate, Numan Al-Hamri, the director of the University explained the importance of reviving of this occasion because of its great position in the hearts of the people of Yemen who had a prominent role in defending the Prophet (PBUH).

He stressed that the Yemeni people are most closely associated with Islam and the faith identity in behavior and action, stressing the importance of confronting the aggression plans that target the religion, values, morals and societal fabric of the Yemeni people.

The Friday of Rajab is the first Friday of the Hijri month of Rajab and it represents an expression of the Yemeni’s association with Islam because it is the day many delegations of them entered Islam.
