A protest stand, in Sana’a, denouncing the UN complicity in the piracy of oil ships
The people of al-Tahrir district in the capital Sana’a organized a protest stand called on the international community and the United Nations to urgently intervene to release the ships of oil derivatives in order to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe.
A statement issued by the protest condemned the arbitrary practices of the countries of aggression led by America, the continuing acts of maritime piracy and the detention of oil derivative ships and preventing their entry to the port of Hodeidah.
The statement affirmed the directorate’s rejection and denunciation of the aggression’s coalition’s use of the policy of collective punishment and methods of economic as a card for pressure, blackmail and manipulation of the lives of 26 million citizens.
The statement also called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to prove their seriousness and effectiveness by applying strong pressure on the coalition of aggression.
The statement condemned the acts of maritime piracy against fuel ships and their continued detention by the US-Saudi aggression in light of the shameful international silence.
