Security and Intelligence Service reveals its report on Al-Qaeda organization in Marib gov

The Security and Intelligence Service in Sanaa uncovered the presence of Al-Qaeda organization elements in Marib province, and the organization’s activity in the province during the recent period.

In a report it issued Saturday, the Security and Intelligence Service revealed the shelters, houses, farms, and camps used by Al-Qaeda militants in the so-called “Wilayat of Marib”.

According to the report, the Al-Qaeda terrorist elements had carried out several criminal and terrorist operations that targeted civilians, and they supported the Saudi-led coalition mercenary forces, the so-called “legitimacy forces”, on several military fronts.

The report explained that the Yemeni security services, with the support of the army and the popular committees, were able to purge “all free lands of the presence of these terrorist elements.

The agency’s report clarified that the attention of the leadership of al-Qaeda operatives in the so-called “Wilayat of Marib” tends to move to Shabwa governorate and other areas and to establish reception shelters and medical centers in order to arrange their conditions due to their expectation of the fall of the Ma’rib governorate at any moment.
