“Al Qaeda” elements in Marib repositioning their elements and locations

In the context of following up on the movements of the so-called Qaeda elements in the Marib governorate, a private source revealed to Al-Masirah about new changes that the organization had introduced in its plan and its movements in the governorate.

The private source revealed that after the Secret Intelligence and Security Service removed information about al-Qaeda’s movements in the Marib Governorate, at the beginning of this month and distributed it to the media, the organization made a number of changes in positions and leaderships, including the transfer of senior leaders in the organization to Shabwa governorate.

The source also revealed new information within the organization’s targeting plans stipulates the issuance of directives from the organization’s leaders to target the army and the popular committees, Ansar Allah, in addition to targeting the so-called Security Belt forces and the elites of the Emirates.

The source disclosed the organization’s movements inside the governorate, confirming that Wael al-Waili, known as Abu Musab al-Waeli, responsible for the organization’s procurement in Marib, is present in abundance in the arms market in the Marib governorate on an almost daily basis, accompanied by another operative called Ali al-Ansi.
