The first national conference on cyber security begins in Sana’a
The activities of the first national conference on cyber security began in the capital, Sanaa, today Monday, in the presence of a member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, and a number of official leaders.
At the opening of the conference, al-Houthi stressed the need to keep pace with science and technological development in important and sensitive areas, the most important of which is cybersecurity. He said, “We have Yemenis can innovate in all fields, and they must be supported.”
The Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government , Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor, affirmed that the government will work to make the effectiveness of cyber security successful. He also called on every official to do his responsibility towards his homeland.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs General Jalal Al-Rowaishan indicated that cyber and state security are no less important than the battle fronts, and citizens must raise the level of awareness regarding the correct use of information.
In turn, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Misfir Al-Numeer pointed out that cyber security has become a priority to deal with all threats and electronic attacks, which become the most important pillar of development for any country.
