Yemeni President discusses with the Minister of Health improving medical services ,controlling drug prices

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Tuesday, the Minister of Public Health and Population, Mr. Taha Al-Mutawakel.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects related to improving medical and treatment services in government hospitals, and interest in qualifying medical personnel, especially in the field of diagnosis.

The meeting touched on the importance of controlling prices in private hospitals and finding a mechanism for controlling drug prices and providing pharmaceutical stocks.

The President stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to provide for the needs of hospitals and government medical facilities to improve the medical services they provide to citizens to alleviate their suffering in light of the continued aggression and siege.
