Al-Shami: The Saudi series “Rashash” embodies the moral, ethical downfall of al-Saud regime
National Salvation Government Spokesman Dhaifullah al-Shami has denounced the low level reached by the Saudi drama, which expressed by Rashash series “Rashash”.
Rashash series is a drama series was broadcast by the Saudi MBC channel. It offends the Yemeni woman, who maintains her faith identity and the authentic customs and traditions of Yemeni society.
In a statement, Minister of Information al-Shami said what was included in “Rashash”, insulted and provoked Yemenis’ feelings, and reflected the state of moral and ethical decline and the cultural and religious bankruptcy of the Saudi regime, which allows the production and broadcast of such reckless and abusive acts.
Al-Shami pointed out that this series comes within the framework of the comprehensive war of aggression against the Yemeni people, which targets their faith identity and their civilization that is deeply rooted in history.
He added, “This is not strange to the Saudi regime in light of the state of moral and social decay and the disengagement from the Arab and Islamic identity, through the expansion of the Entertainment Authority in the opening of amusement parks and clubs that encourage mixing in exchange for preventing Muslims from performing the Hajj.”
He stressed that such targeting will not affect the identity of the Yemeni people, which will remain the fortress in the face of Western and exotic cultures that are affected by some countries ruled by client regimes in the region.
He praised the campaigns condemning this descending series on a large scale by activists and intellectuals in the region, which confirm the existence of an awakening in the face of destructive ideas on Arab societies.
The government spokesman called on the free people in Najd and Hijaz regions to take a stand against such abusive acts, considering that insulting the Yemeni society is an insult to Najd, Hijaz and all Arab societies.
