Two People Tie Themselves to Wheels of US Aircraft Leaving Kabul Fall to Death

A shocking video splashing on TV screens and social media showed two people falling off mid-air after they tried to flee by reportedly tying themselves to the wheels of a US military aircraft.

In the video shared on Twitter by Tehran Times, an aircraft could be seen flying over Kabul. Two people could be seen dropping from the aircraft as it advanced.

Amid the chaos, scores of Afghans nationals thronged the airport’s tarmac. In response, the US forces fired reportedly “in the air,” with media outlets saying there were 5 killed in the airport.

The Taliban declared the war in Afghanistan was over after the outfit took control of the presidential palace in Kabul.

President Ashraf Ghani fled the country on Sunday, saying he wanted to avoid bloodshed, while hundreds of Afghans desperate to leave flooded Kabul airport.
