Safer Agreement Committee issues a statement denying what was stated in the New Yorker magazine.

The Supervisory Committee for the Execution of the Urgent Maintenance Agreement and the Comprehensive Evaluation of the Safir Floating Reservoir has denied what was reported in the American “New Yorker” magazine about the misrepresentation of the committee’s Chairman, Ibrahim Al-Serraji, regarding the reasons for the failure of the Safir reservoir maintenance agreement.

In a statement issued by the committee, the committee denounced the American magazine’s misleading public opinion by distorting a dialogue with the head of the committee, demanding the magazine to apologize and publish the clarification with the right of reply, while preserving the right to sue in the competent courts.
