Yemeni Media Union Concerned for Activist Al-Jarmouzi’s, After Arrest in Qatar
Quting from almasirah, the Yemeni Media Union expressed its deep concern about the arrest and disappearance of political and human rights activist Saleh Al- Jarmouzi by the Qatari authorities, calling for the disclosure of his fate and his release.
In a statement, the union stated that the activist al-Jarmozi has been taken from his family since January 22, after he was arrested by the security services in Qatar.
Qatari authorities arrested political and human rights activist Saleh Al-Jarmouzi after an interview on Al Mayadeen TV in which he condemned the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen.
Yemeni political activists revealed that Qatari authorities arrested Al-Jarmouzi 10 minutes after his interview with Al Mayadeen on January 22.
There was also a wide campaign of solidarity with Al-Jarmouzi on social media following news of his arrest, which condemned Qatari authorities and held them responsible for anything that would happen to him.
