The Shura Council Condemns the Aggression’s Targeting the Yemeni Company For International Communications Building
Quting from Saba, the Shura Council condemned on Tuesday the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition’s targeting of the building of the Yemeni International Telecommunication Company “TeleYemen”, which led to the interruption of international telecommunication services.
In a statement, which Saba received a copy of it, the council considered that the systematic destruction of the telecommunications sector aims to cover up the aggression coalition’s crimes against civilians, isolate the Yemeni people from the world and deprive them of telecommunications and Internet services guaranteed under international humanitarian law.
The statement held the aggression countries fully responsible for the repercussions of the interruption of TeleYemen services, calling on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to assume their legal responsibilities and stand firmly against all violations and crimes committed against the Yemeni people.
