The health sector holds the US-Saudi aggression responsible for the catastrophic repercussions of the siege

The Public Health and Population Office in Sana’a governorate held the US-Saudi aggression coalition responsible for the catastrophic repercussions on the health sector services in the governorate due to the lack of oil derivatives and the tightening of the systematic siege on the Yemeni people.

During a vigil on Monday, the office employees condemned the international silence regarding the continued piracy on fuel and medicine ships, the doubling of the suffering of hospitals, the paralysis of a number of services, as well as the interruption of water and electricity services, and the lack of medicines for chronic and critical illnesses.

They considered preventing the entry of oil and the arbitrary actions of the aggression countries as a full-fledged war crime that led to the deterioration of the health and service sectors after being subjected to bombing and systematic destruction for seven years.

The statement of the stand held the United Nations and humanitarian organizations responsible for their silence regarding the continued efforts of the coalition of aggression to prevent the entry of ships to the port of Hodeidah, ignoring the appeals and warnings of an imminent humanitarian disaster and the suspension of various service sectors due to the exhaustion of oil derivatives.

The statement warned that the insistence of the aggression led by America, Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the land, sea and air blockade threatens to stop health sector services and exacerbate the catastrophic situation of thousands of patients.

The statement called on the United Nations to carry out its legal and moral duty to prevent all arbitrary practices against the Yemeni people, work to open the port of Hodeidah and Sanaa International Airport, and to intervene to stop the aggression, lift the siege, allow the entry of oil ships and end the suffering that has exacerbated the suffering of Yemenis in an unprecedented way in history. .
