Endowments Authority condemns mercenaries’ continued targeting of shrines in occupied provinces
The General Authority for Endowments condemned the targeting shrines, domes and mosques by the mercenaries of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression in the occupied provinces.
In a statement, the authority denounced the detonating the tomb of Abdulrahman bin Omar Badas in Erqa area of the coast of Rudhum area and the dome of bin Abdulsamad in Rudhum area, south of Shabwa provibce leveling them to the ground.
It considered the mercenaries’ bombing of the tombs, shrines and domes of the righteous a crime added to the criminal record of the aggression and mercenaries, which targeted the domes and shrines of the righteous and destroyed hundreds of mosques and graves in various provinces.
The authority pointed out that the forces of the so-called “giants or al-Amaleka” destroyed several similar shrines in several areas south of Shabwa during the past few days.
It stressed that the systematic destruction of historical monuments, archaeological sites, shrines by the aggression and mercenaries aims to eliminate Yemen’s historical cultural heritage and everything related to historical evidence of the Yemeni civilization rooted in history.
The authority called on international organizations concerned with preserving human heritage to play their role in protecting Yemeni heritage and historical monuments, cities and shrines that are subject to obliteration and distortion by the forces of aggression and mercenaries.
