The US refuses to end blockade and pay salaries; It Continues to steal Yemen’s wealth
Over the past two days, the United Nations made sure to picture itself as a sympathizer with humanitarian issues that are directly related to the lives of the poor.
It released messages expressing this propaganda sympathy, with appeals to strengthen collective action in the service of humanity and to save millions of lives from hunger and poverty.
Yesterday, on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, the UN sent messages to the world about human dignity and the elimination of poverty. It also outlined its content of work during the next phase under the slogan that is set to celebrate the occasion, which is “dignity for all,” which was determines last year during (2022-2023).
The other UN said: Human dignity is not only an inherent right, but is the foundation of all other fundamental rights. Therefore, dignity is not an abstract concept: it is a human right of every individual on this earth. Today, many people living in chronic poverty suffer from the denial of their dignity and the lack of respect for it.
Under the slogan “Dignity for All,” it stated, “The United Nations commemorates the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.” The United Nations increased its enthusiasm by saying, “Let us make poverty a mere memory in the pages of history.”
The United Nations recognizes this link between dignity and poverty, as the latter is a major cause to let makes you lose dignity. However, its attention to the Yemeni tragedy, where the poverty rate is increasing due to aggression and siege, is far from this concept in its perspective.
Yesterday, the United Nations also returned to the international mentality the essence of its activity, by pushing for food security for the world, on the occasion of (World Food Day).
Furthermore, it said: We are all interconnected! From our foods to our cultures, from our environments to our economies… and in most cases, climate change, conflict and inequality often leave groups behind.
In an exclamatory rather than an interrogative form, the UN said: Did you know that a third of food is lost or wasted before it reaches consumers?
Its Secretary, added: We celebrate it at a difficult moment from the perspective of global food security. He added, “We have to work together to move from the narrowness of despair to the spaciousness of hope and action.
The United Nations says and formulates powerful, touching phrases. However, its negative practices in Yemen contradict them. The UN has led millions of Yemenis to reach the edge of poverty by presenting itself as a neutral mediator. It does so with an issue that it knows is humanitarian and considered a fully right that must be given to Yemenis.
Regarding this manner, the United Nations is seen to be framing its negative and distorted presence, America emerges as an effective alternative in creating conflicts and managing their course, humiliating peoples and confiscating their rights.
This has been the reality of what the Yemeni people have been experiencing for eight years because of the aggression and the siege. The one who is controlling this aggression and siege is the US, as they are an abnormal and immoral alternative in its dealings with the countries of the world.
Today, no one can be arrogant, or argue about the fact that America is the one who stands in the way of the payment of salaries and prevents Yemenis from obtaining the revenues of their oil and gas wealth. Rather, it plays the role of a protective umbrella for the looting and smuggling of Yemeni oil wealth within a quota plan and rewards.
The US is an active main player in the aggression against Yemen and the siege of its people. It has the strongest influence even on international bodies that are supposed to be neutral bodies, such as the United Nations and the Security Council. The UN promotes itself as a peace sponsor to solve the problems of the peoples. Even in the simplest cases, it sets itself up as a protector over the deposits of wealth under the pretext of preserving them from entering into conflicts. But in reality, it wants to ensure that money continues to flow into their coffers and from their followers.
In the Yemeni problem, America realizes that the looting operations must continue. If it is not for it, then at least it will save it the trouble of spending on the countries participating in the operations of pressure, siege and complicity in the aggression against Yemen.
American colonialism does not end, and the “agent” countries remain the best supporters in these operations. They know Yemen has become now an emerging power, which is a real threat to all those conferences and plans aimed at looting it and undermining its sovereignty.
In the latest update of the sessions of the UN Security Council, the fake human values carried by the countries that call themselves the great ones were exposes. They stated illogical, misleading justifications, in an attempt to hold Sana’a responsible for obstructing the extension of the truce.
It is not a matter of cleverness to realize that Yemen is being targeted by countries that trade with people’s blood and their livelihood. The Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government did not add any new conditions since the last agreement on the truce in its many versions. The coalition of aggression were put in an unenviable position, as they promote these demands are reflecting a state of intransigence. Rather, the truth is in the intransigence of the aggression, the United Nations, the Security Council and the European Union in recognizing the right of the Yemeni people.
In the Security Council session, it became clear that we are in front of an immoral international community, adapting its humanitarian slogans to commercial investment in line with its interests. It is arrogant and eludes facts that do not need to be explained. They simply want the Yemenis for a truce, and they want them to agree to pass the truce in exchange for what these countries set for them. From the privileges of living without even any guarantees in implementing what they propose.
America and Britain have exposed their intentions, falsehood and deception, especially since they were unable to give logical justifications to prevent the payment of salaries, and confiscate the right of the Yemeni employee in their salaries. These countries give the right to themselves to speak and negotiate on behalf of whom they say “legitimacy”, and to intervene In matters that are concerned with another independent country.
According to this, it is clear that America is pushing for the return of the death shells, the sound of explosions, the wailing of children and women, and the restriction on the livelihood of the citizen. This seems to be an urgent American interest.
