Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi inaugurates improvement plans for academic programs at Sana’a University
Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed al-Houthi and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazib on Tuesday inaugurated new plans to improve the academic programs at Sana’a University.
At the inauguration, Al-Houthi praised the developmental steps that Sana’a University had achieved despite the aggression and siege, foremost of which was the modernization and development of curricula and academic curricula and its openness to the observations and suggestions of all academics.
He noted the importance of continuing to develop curricula, and to have control over the implementation of projects, urging the need to reconsider the educational system at the university and take advantage of its infrastructure and academic to expand the educational system.
For his part, the Minister of Higher Education praised the achievements made by Sana’a University in terms of academic programs and courses, completing self-evaluation for all its faculties, and launching plans for improvement and development.
Hazib considered the achievements of the university in light of the aggression and siege as an achievement for the Republic of Yemen, since Sanaa University is considered the house of expertise and appointed for all other universities.
He pointed out that the readiness of Sana’a University to apply to the Academic Accreditation Council to obtain national programmatic and institutional accreditation represents international recognition of the Academic Accreditation Council and of the higher education in Yemen.
