The Ministry of Human Rights denounced the arbitrary arrest of the Yemeni citizen, Marwa Abd Rabbo Hussein Al-Sabri, by the Saudi regime in the Holy Land. While she was going to perform Umrah, false malicious accusations were fabricated against her.

In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that the sentence issued against this Yemeni woman by the Saudi regime, which entails imprisoning her for a year, represents a flagrant violation of human rights and all humanitarian laws, in addition to being contrary to religious and social values.

The statement indicated that this act, insofar as it represents a new provocation to the feelings of millions of Yemenis and their noble customs, traditions and values that refuse to insult the dignity of women and uphold their status, what the Saudi regime did is a compound crime as she was arrested while performing the sacred rituals without a crime she committed, and did not respect the sanctity of the place, and its holiness.
