Two stands in the city of Dhamar, denouncing the burning of copies of the Holy Quran

Two stands were organized in the city of Dhamar today to denounce the burning of copies of the Holy Quran in Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark.

Participants in the two vigils held after Friday prayers at the Great Mosque and the Hajar Mosque denounced the repeated abuses of Islamic sanctities and symbols, particularly the Holy Quran.

They considered these disgraceful acts to be part of the Zionist lobby’s plans that target Islam with abuse, propaganda and skepticism. They called on Arab and Islamic countries to take decisive action against those who violate the nation’s sanctities, boycott its goods and expel its ambassadors.
