The Saudi aggression is back to bargaining over the humanitarian file: Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan
Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed that the aggression coalition is not serious about moving towards peace, and that Saudi Arabia tends to satisfy the American desires by bargaining over the humanitarian file, warning of the readiness of the armed forces to deal with the state of procrastination. This comes as an additional reinforced message after they have been warned lately by the Leader of the Revolution during his latest speech.
Al-Ruwaishan said in an interview with Al-Masirah Arabic channel: “There is no clear seriousness in separating the Saudi position from the American desire,” stressing that “this delay will not lead to a result.”
Sanaa had previously indicated that it was trying to give the countries of aggression an opportunity to move towards peace, away from the American push for escalation, but it seems that the countries of aggression are missing the opportunity for themselves.
Al-Ruwaishan stressed that “the countries of the aggression coalition have returned to using the humanitarian file as a card to obtain political gains,” which represents a departure from the path of negotiation and a return to the bargaining box for rights, which translates into a clear response to what America wants.
“The humanitarian file is a popular entitlement that has nothing to do with military or political negotiation, but the international community is still using this file as a negotiating card until now,” he added.
“The American agenda looks at Yemen within the international scene, and it seems that its goals in Yemen do not deviate from its view of the conflict in Ukraine, and seeks to employ aggression against Yemen,” the Lieutenant General, pointed out.
These data indicate that the limited positive indicators that have emerged recently were not supported by a real desire on the part of the coalition of aggression to move towards peace, but rather came as part of its attempts to perpetuate a state of no war and no peace, to gain more time, so it can rearrange its ranks.
Al-Ruwaishan hinted that Saudi Arabia is trying to impose a wrong perception by “assuming the role of mediator,” stressing that this acceptance of this behavior is unthinkable and illogical.
He added, “Saudi Arabia must not play a role that does not suit it, and it must lift the blockade and remove its forces to get out of the quagmire.”
Al-Ruwaishan stressed the “readiness of the armed forces for the required position in the event of the continued Saudi-American procrastination,” in reinforcement of what the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, confirmed in his recent speech about readiness for a return to escalation at any moment, and the possibility of Sanaa running out of patience in the face of the attempts of the aggression coalition and its sponsors to circumvent the situation.
The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, called on the aggression coalition to “seize the opportunity that the leader of the revolution gave them before it is too late.”
The total messages and assurances of the national revolutionary and military leadership indicate that the aggression coalition is still far from the position required to achieve a just peace, and that its position is still governed by its desire to deceive Sanaa to achieve what it was unable to achieve by force, which necessarily means that the possibilities of an explosion of the situation still exist to the same extent as it was before the start of the last negotiation process.
