Technical failure in the international cable causes the low service of the Internet in Yemen

Yemeni Public Telecommunications Corporation in Sanaa revealed details on the low service of the Internet in Yemen, where some international Internet capacities have been out of service as a result of a cut in the international cable on one of the international routes outside the country.

An official source in the Corporation explained that the disconnection of the international cable led to the partial impact of local internet traffic.

He pointed out that the corporation is in contact and follow-up with the company that owns the submarine cable, and Internet traffic will be restored to normal in the coming hours.
