Lahj Governor: the US activities in Al-Mahrah is a flagrant violation of the Yemeni sovereignty
Lahj governor, Ahmed Juraib, appointed by Sanaa, denounced the US activities to violate the Yemeni sovereignty, the latest of which was the visit of the US Navy commander to Mahra province, accompanied by Washington’s ambassador.
In a statement, the governor, Juraib considered these moves a blatant interference in Yemeni affairs and a violation of the sovereignty of a member state of the United Nations.
He pointed out that the visit of the American delegation reflected Washington’s bad intentions in Yemen and revealed the seriousness of its colonial agenda in the Yemeni provinces.
Juraib pointed out that these developments requiring everyone to rally with a call mad by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to prepare for the battle of complete independence and expel the invaders and colonizers from all parts of the country.
The governor affirmed that the provocative American moves in the southern provinces, specifically Hadramout and Mahra, come within the framework of Washington’s efforts to thwart peace efforts in Yemen, and confirm the American desire to prolong the war and the continuation of the blockade.
He called on the free people of the southern provinces to stand united to reject the American presence and condemn these moves because of their dangerous consequences.
