American ambassador seen in Djibouti overseeing Yemen blockade
The official Twitter account of the US embassy in the country posted a picture yesterday of its ambassador, Fagin, in Djibouti visiting members of the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism (UNVIM).
The embassy stated that the visit occurred while UN personnel were inspecting ships in Djibouti, and that the ambassador praised UNVIM, claiming that the UN team is working to enforce the arms embargo while facilitating the flow of basic goods to the Yemeni people.
This aforementioned tweet leaves no room for doubt about the credibility of what officials in Sanaa are repeating that the aggression and blockade on Yemen are American with excellence, and that the United Nations is implementing the agenda of the aggression and exercising an aggressive role in our country with American support.
These American movements come hours after a tweet by Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi, in which he warned UNVIM of the danger of the blockade on the Yemeni people and preventing container ships from entering.
“We have given the special envoy’s office 72 hours to stop the UNVIM farce and release the container ship (Lamar) and not repeat any hindrance, otherwise, we will be sorry to notify them to leave the country and suspend all their activities until further notice, and then every incident will be talked about”, Hussein Al-Ezzi warned.
“We do not want a United Nations that besieges our people on our behalf, and justifies to us every time that it is waiting for instructions from Riyadh,” he added.
The American movements prove that the American ambassador is directly overseeing the blockade on our country and that there is no desire among Americans to stop the aggression and lift the blockade on Yemen.
