Three planes arrived at Sanaa airport with 105 prisoners freed from the prisons of aggression in Marib

Today, three planes of the International Committee of the Red Cross were arrived at Sana’a International Airport, with 105 prisoners freed from the mercenary prisons in Marib governorate within the Switzerland Agreement.

Upon their arrival, the prisoners were received by members of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Saleh Al -Nuaimi, Sultan Al -Sama’i, Mubarak Al -Machin, Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense, Lieutenant General Jalal Al -Ruwaishan, Chairman of the General Staff, his deputy for training and rehabilitation, Major General Ali Al -Mushki, and the media ministers, Dhaif Allah Al -Shami, Electricity and Energy, Mr. Muhammad Al -Bakhiti and Tourism Ahmed Al -Amir Civil service, insurance, Salim Al -Mughals, Higher Education, and Scientific Research Hussein Hazb, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Tenders and Auctions Abdul -Malik Al -Arishi, Chairman of the Zakat Authority, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Actarin, military and security leaders, and a large group of masses, families and relatives of the prisoners.

The head of the National Committee of the Prisoners, Abdel -Qader Al -Murtada, confirmed that within three days, the exchange of prisoners of 706 prisoners from the army and the popular committees was implemented compared to 181 prisoners from the other party.

He said, “The prisoners of the army and the popular committees are distributed among the 250 Saudi prisons and 250 prisoners who were captured on the fronts of Lahj, Aden, Al -Dhali, and 100 prisoners who were captured in the West Coast front, in addition to 105 prisoners who left the Marib prisons that arrived today at the last batch.”

He explained that this deal, which was agreed upon, is mainly part of the March agreement that took place last year and the implementation of the first and second part of it began.

He stated that the agreement includes three main points, the first to complete the deal that was agreed upon and was implemented during the three days and the second point formed committees from both sides to visit prisons in Marib and Sana for all parties to attend a new round of negotiations.

He pointed out that Ramadan deal, which is currently carried out, included dozens of those who were kidnapped from the roads while traveling from Marib , indicating that among the released ones was the kidnapped captive, Samira Marsh.

The head of the National Committee of Prisoners also affirmed the continuation of efforts to release the prisoners who were not released.
