The gathered crowds reaffirmed the steadfast position of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian people, and their advocacy and assistance to the resistance in deterring the arrogance and obstinacy of the Zionist enemy, and responding to their ongoing crimes against women and children.
They denounced the complicity of the international community, the United Nations, the Arab client regimes, and their disgraceful silence regarding the crimes, massacres, and brutalities committed against the Palestinian people by the invading Zionist enemy.
The gathered masses praised the heroic operations and missile strikes carried out by the Palestinian resistance in response to the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the heroic leaders, women, and children by bombing residential neighborhoods.
The crowds also lauded the steadfastness, sacrifices, and struggle of the Palestinian people, and the united response of the resistance factions to deter the arrogance and crimes of the enemy against civilians, and the killing of women and children.
During the march, the Mufti of Yemen, Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, hailed the steadfast and persevering Yemeni people, who are steadfast in the path of God and defending their honor and dignity.
He emphasized that the Yemeni people’s determination, under one leadership, government, and nation, expresses solidarity with the free people of Palestine and that they will never abandon the Palestinian people or the sanctities of Muslims, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sharaf al-Din pointed out that the Yemeni people will not abandon their faith, values, principles, courage, honor, chivalry, and the rescue of the oppressed, and will continue their steadfastness and resilience in the face of the enemies of the nation.
He said, “The free Yemeni people, with their Islamic and spiritual identity, are guided by the Holy Quran and the teachings of the greatest Prophet, to reaffirm their permanent position towards the issues of the nation, foremost among which are Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem).”
The Mufti of Yemen urged the nation’s people to unite their ranks, gather their word, and stand together with those stationed in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the Zionist, American, British, and European enemy, which has not stopped since 1948 until today.
He also stressed that the current circumstances require everyone to strive to revive the spirit of jihad in the consciences of the nation’s people, away from the misguided ideas resulting from cultures other than the culture of the Holy Quran, which is keen to ignite the culture of courage in the spirit of the nation.
Sharaf al-Din called upon the scholars of the nation to revive the spirit of jihad and incite the nation, encourage it, and urge it to do so, and to follow the path of the Messenger, peace be upon him and his family, in exalting the word of God, jihad for His sake, and confronting the enemies of Islam.
He pointed out that it is not permissible to remain silent and turn a blind eye to everything that happens to the nation, especially in Palestine and the resistance of the free people who are the spearhead of its defense, offering daily sacrifices for the honor and dignity of the nation, stressing the importance of preparing the moral equipment and reviving the jihadist spirit in the hearts of the nation’s people.
The Mufti of Yemen held the leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries fully responsible for the ongoing aggression against the people of Palestine, calling for the mobilization of energy, capabilities, and the expenditure of money to uphold the truth and humiliate falsehood.
He said, “We affirm the sanctity of normalization with the invading enemy, and those who attend the enemy’s meetings do not represent the Arab and Islamic nation, nor do they represent the truth and the chivalry of Arabism, and we declare our disavowal of the normalizers just as we declare our disavowal of the Jews and all the polytheists.”
Meanwhile, the representative of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Yemen, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Baraka, said: “Peace be upon you as you stand today to share the Palestinian people’s joys in their victory in this round against the Zionist enemy, as you have supported them in their suffering and all stages of their jihad against an enemy that commits all atrocities in full view and hearing of the world.”
The representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Yemen confirmed that the movement, which has sacrificed its leaders, is ready to offer more martyrs to gain victory. He also noted that the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine remains stronger, more resilient, and more militant in the face of the Zionist enemy and will continue on this path.
Furthermore, he praised the pivotal role played by the Yemeni people and their loyal leadership towards Palestine, represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, and stated that if given the opportunity, Sayyid al-Houthi would fight in Palestine alongside the Palestinian people.
The representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Yemen saluted the steadfast Palestinian people who have endured the aggression and proved to the world that the Palestinian people do not accept humiliation.
The statement also praised the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance factions in the face of the Zionist aggression on Gaza for five days, and their ability to repel the enemy’s attacks. The statement criticized the international community’s silence towards the Zionist enemy’s crimes against civilians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank and considered America an essential partner of the Zionist enemy in the aggression on Gaza, condemning the miserable and shameful silence of the official Arab regimes.
The statement expressed its indignation at the Arab League, which no longer represents the peoples eager to confront the Zionist enemy and support Palestine. Finally, the statement called on the peoples of the nation to bear the responsibility of supporting the Palestinian resistance movements and supporting Palestine and Al-Quds.
