The aggression coalition continues to disrupt flights to the agreed destinations under the truce

The Director General of Sana’a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, confirmed that the non-operation of flights from Sana’a International Airport to the destinations agreed upon under the truce and truce is due to political obstruction by the aggression coalition and not to technical matters related to the airport.

Al-Shayef said in a statement to Al-Masirah, today, Saturday, that only 84,000 passengers were transported during the year of the truce and lull, compared to 2 million passengers annually before the aggression.

He pointed out that 50 flights per day were going to Sanaa airport, in exchange for a single destination to Jordan and 184 flights during a year of armistice and calm.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the General Authority for Aviation, Raed Jabal, confirmed that the aggression coalition rejected the requests of Djibouti, Jordanian, Saida and other companies to operate flights to and from Sana’a International Airport.

Jabal pointed out that there is approval by Cairo and New Delhi to operate flights to it, and the obstruction comes from the aggression coalition by not allowing Yemenia or other carrier companies to operate these flights.
