Minister of Transport: Reopening ports and airports without restrictions an urgent demand of the Yemeni people

The Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, affirmed that the Red Sea ports serve the vast majority of the Yemeni people at the level of the governorates of the Republic.

During his chairmanship of a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation today, Tuesday, in Hodeidah, Minister Al-Durra said that reopening ports and airports without restrictions or conditions has become an urgent demand after more than eight years of systematic blockade.

He praised the efforts of the Red Sea Ports Corporation and its role in keeping pace with the challenges and addressing difficulties in the technical aspects, and preparing plans and programs to raise the operational capacity for the performance of the port of Hodeidah.
