President Al-Mashat: Our opponents must abandon hostile practices

Today, Monday, the head of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Muhammad al-Mashat, delivered a speech on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of 26th September Revolution in which he called on the countries of aggression to abandon their hostile policies and move to a state of peace, warning at the same time of the consequences of the forces of aggression shirking the implementation of peace obligations.

President Al-Mashat said: “I call on our local opponents and all of our surroundings and neighbors to do what we call ourselves to, and we commit them to what we commit ourselves to in terms of good intentions, good actions, and positions.”

He stressed that our opponents must abandon hostile strategies and practices and move to an atmosphere of peace and dialogue that leads to just solutions. President Al-Mashat added: “Just solutions must ensure full, undiminished respect for our rights, leading to freedom from all factors of hatred between the people of one country and one nation.”

President Al-Mashat stressed the speed of immediately ending the blockade and quickly engaging in confidence-building measures on the humanitarian and economic aspects, and at the forefront of the confidence-building measures is the total opening of airports and ports and the payment of salaries, adding: “I absolve myself to God of any setback in the dialogues and of everything that may result from procrastination and procrastination.”
